The Future of the World Depends on How Openly We Work Together – WtERT Network Represented at IFAT 2022

Dear Professor Themelis,

From May 30th to June 3rd the World´s Leading Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Waste and Raw Materials Management IFAT is taking place at Munich, Germany.

With 260.000 square meters exhibition space IFAT is the largest international and multilingual platform for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, IFAT gathers the industry from all over the world —its innovative offers set benchmarks for the future. WTERT Germany in the Baltic States

On behalf of the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania e.V. and financed by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment WtERT Germany was to prepare a strategy paper for sustainable waste management in the Baltics and organize a workshop with clear recommendations and impulses.

Prof. Nickolas Themelis reviewed the data presented in the Reshaping Plastics report of April 2022. These data show that the EU manages its plastic wastes better than the US.

12th Mediterranean Combustion Symposium MCS-12
